This policy explains what personal data Digitas Finance collects through digitasfinance.com, why we collect it, who receives it, how long we keep it and the rights you have.
Digitas Finance, DMCC Business Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at [email protected] or through our contact page.
Through the contact form we receive your name, email address and message, and your company and phone number if you give them. We use them to answer you and follow up on your enquiry. We rely on our legitimate interest in answering the people who write to us, or on taking the steps you ask for before a contract.
The assessment form asks whether your company is registered in a UAE free zone, whether it earns only qualifying income, what its annual profits are and whether it has foreign clients or suppliers, together with your name, email address, phone number, company name and any message. We use your answers to assess whether our services fit your situation and to contact you about it, as steps you ask for before a contract.
Before payment we ask whether your revenue is above USD 100,000 a year, whether you are a US national or US tax resident, whether you are able to travel outside your country of residence, whether you have a criminal record (minor violations such as traffic fines excluded) and whether you hold a diploma, certificate or degree. We also ask for your name and email address, and your phone number, company and discount code if you have them. When you pay, PayPal tells us the name and email address of the paying account, the status of the payment and its order number.
We use this to take your payment, send your receipt, check that we can provide the package and deliver it. We rely on the contract with you, and on our legal obligation to keep accounting records. The criminal record question is a yes or no answer: we ask for no detail and use the answer only to check that we can provide the package.
Your card or bank details go to PayPal only. We never receive them.
Our servers, and Cloudflare, which delivers the site, process your IP address, the pages you request, the time of the request and your browser type. We use this to deliver the pages, keep the site secure and find faults. Your IP address is also used, in memory only, to limit repeated form submissions from the same address. We rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity collect information about your visit: the pages you view, how you arrived, your device and browser, your approximate location worked out from your IP address and, for Clarity, how you use each page (such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement), which it can replay as a recording of the visit. We use this to understand how the site is used and to improve it. We rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with . Until you accept, neither service is loaded. Our Cookie Policy lists the cookies involved.
Giving us personal data is up to you, but we cannot answer an enquiry without a way to reach you, or sell a package without the checkout details.
We share personal data only with the providers that help us run the site and our business, for the purposes above:
We do not sell personal data.
We are based in the United Arab Emirates, so what you send us through the site reaches us there. Depending on where you live, and in particular where the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:
To use any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We answer within one month. You can also complain to a data protection authority, such as the one where you live or work: in the European Union, see the list of authorities; in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office.
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to the systems that hold personal data is limited to the people who need it.
Our services are for businesses and adults. The site is not intended for children.
We update this policy when the way we handle personal data changes, and show the date of the last change at the top of this page.
